I am an LCSW who has been licensed for 18 years.  I have a breadth of experience working with children, adolescents and adults to find their own paths and move towards healing. I began my career in California where I both went to school and became licensed. I have recently moved to Albuquerque and am continuing my professional journey. I have extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities all focusing on YOU as the expert and the leader in your own healing.  

My services are client-centered and focused on helping you make changes in ways that you feel are important.  I will work with you to identify and develop coping strategies and stress management techniques that are helpful and necessary as we do deeper work.  I will help you to focus on resolving past traumas, exploring past and present relationships and begin to heal from PTSD, depression, or anxiety.

I am attachment based, believing that all healing occurs within relationship.  I have training in Somatic Experiencing, which is a body-centered method of addressing and resolving both discrete and developmental traumas. SE® restores self-regulation and returns a sense of aliveness, relaxation and wholeness to traumatized individuals who have had these precious gifts taken away. SE® has been applied to combat victims, rape survivors, Holocaust survivors, people with auto accident and post-surgical trauma, chronic pain sufferers, and even to infants after suffering traumatic births.

Additionally, I am training in DARe, focusing on early attachment patterns that we have all developed based on childhood experiences. Our adult relationships offer the most powerful means of resolving and addressing old, insecure patterns.
